x soundblaster live! audio drivers for os/2 have finally been released
  as public beta! get them on here. if you're hardcore into mp3's
  and need a soundcard that doesn't completely suck, grab a sblive @
  axiontech for real cheap!
x ... continued from above? =)  even though the os/2 sblive drivers are
  public beta #1, they're still LESS buggy than ANY soundcard driver
  currently available for os/2!! the card + driver can mix several streams
  at once, so you can play mp3's with z! and a game of B.U.G.S. or MAME/2
  and have os/2 desktop sounds enabled all at the same time without any
  annoying pauses, clicks or system/application "hangs" which are caused
  by some (most!) inferior os/2 audio drivers.
